This guide will show you the locations of all Power Nodes in the Dead Space Remake. The locations are structured according the areas and based on Chapters!
This guide is for the Dead Space Remake, released in 2023!
Survival in Dead Space is difficult without making use of weapon and suit upgrades. In order to make upgrades you will need to find objects known as Power Nodes.
As you make your way around the USG Ishimura, you need to be mindful of your surroundings to make sure to you’ve inspected every room for this scarce resource. In this guide we’ll be providing you with the various locations of power nodes by chapter.
How to get Power Nodes in Dead Space
The majority of power nodes you’ll find come from wall lockers. Be sure to keep your eyes out for any square, blue lockers with a light on the right-hand side like in this picture below.
Rooms containing power nodes will oftentimes have prerequisites to enter such as re-routing power via circuit breakers or solving a puzzle to get inside.
You can also purchase Power Nodes for Credits from the Store kiosks. One Power Node costs 10,000 Credits. Yeah, they are quite expensive.
There are a number of ways to make Credits in Dead Space, but it doesn’t mean you have to waste them on Power Nodes early on. You will find plenty while playing the game.

Chapter 1 Power Node Locations
For reference, Chapter 1 takes place on the Flight Deck of the USG Ishimura. This is the deck that accepts incoming shuttles for docking and where you start the game.
Tram Repair Room
There will be a locker containing a power node on the wall to the right of you when you first enter this room. This is where you have to Replace the Damaged Tram, the first mini-puzzle involving Stasis and Kinesis gameplay mechanics.
Cargo Hall Storage Room
To enter the Cargo Hall Storage Room you’ll need to reroute power from a nearby conduit in the hallway. Once the red power line leading to the room turns blue, you can enter and find a locker on the wall containing a power node.
Maintenance Bay Office
You will again need to find another nearby circuit breaker to enter this room. When you’re inside you can find a power node in a wall locker.
Flight Deck Supply Room
A power node locker can be found in the flight deck supply room on the south wall.
Chapter 2 Power Node Locations
Chapter 2 locations of power nodes are found on the Medical Deck of the USG Ishimura.
Diagnostic Technician Room
Found on the south wall of the room, you will need to relocate power from a circuit breaker to enter this room.
Limb Stimulation Therapy Room
This is a hard one to miss as you have a mission objective here. You’ll find it on the south wall as you walk out towards your next objective.
ER Hallway B
At the far west end of the hallway, you can find a power node locker on the north wall near the corner of the hall.
Ishimura Clinic
To enter this room, you’ll need Level 1 Security Clearance. Once you obtain the Captain’s RIG you’ll be able to enter this room and find it on the north wall.
Patient Locker Room
To find the Patient Locker Rom, you’ll need to go through the Imaging Diagnostics room towards the Zero-G room. This room will be found on a hallway and the locker can be found on the south wall. This room requires Level 1 clearance to enter. You can get there during Chapter 5 as you will have objectives nearby.
Chapter 3 Power Node Locations
Chapter 3 takes place on the Engineering Deck of the USG Ishimura. There’s a lot of loud machinery giving off sparks on this deck so it’s easy to get lost here.
Tram Control
If you go to the Hangar, you can find a Level 1 clearance door you can now open. Inside you’ll find a power node.
Fuel Management Room
To enter the fuel management room, you’ll need to find the Fuel Station Keycard. The keycard is found to the east of this room in some hallways. You’ll find it on top of a desk but you’ll need to fight some necromorphs to get it. Once inside, you can find the power node on the west wall.
Centrifuge Control North
On the way to the Gravity Centrifuge, you’ll encounter a hallway with your locator telling you to go right. Instead, you must go left and down the long, circular hallway, and at the end you’ll find a power node locker.
Fuel Storage
Near the elevator in fuel storage you can find a room containing a power node locker.
Engine Room
When you’re engine room, walk towards the center of the room and go right. You’ll see a ramp that leads to the engine controls. Walk towards this area but make a right into a hallway. Turn right again to right a small workspace where you can find a power node locker on the paneling.
Chapter 4 Power Node Locations
Chapter 4 takes place on the Flight Deck of the USG Ishimura and is also the chapter where we fight our first Brute!
Main Atrium
When you make progress in the main questline, you’ll have to fight a Brute necromorph to proceed. Use Kinesis to slow it down and shoot the glowing parts on its joints from behind. Once defeated, the Brute will drop a power node.
Bridge Storage Room
On the second floor of the bridge you can find a hallway that makes a 90 degree angle. At the southeast of this hallway you can a storage room containing a power node.
Admin Server Maintenance
When you reach Mining Administration, make a right to face north and you’ll find an door. Inside you’ll find another door leading to a small room containing a power node locker.
Break Room
On the 1st Floor of the Bridge Deck you’ll find the Break Room. This room has a display with a video talking about the history of the Marker and a strange red circle with hands and foot prints. You can use this to summon Power Nodes by performing the following actions within the circle…
Melee, Stomp, Melee x2, Stomp, Melee, Stomp, Melee x4, Stomp
After doing this, two Power Nodes will mysteriously appear in the circle. It’s better to just take them and not ask questions.
Electrical Systems
You’ll encounter another Brute necromorph that you’ll need to defeat with the main questline. It will drop a power node once it is defeated.
Chapter 5 Power Node Locations
It’s everyone’s favorite Chapter! I won’t say why exactly to avoid spoilers but lets just say that some of our problems have a nasty habit of coming back again and again when they should just chill out.
Dr. Warwick’s Office
You’ll need to find Dr. Warwick’s Office in a hallway near a save station. Inside you can find a power node on the west wall. This room requires Level 2 Clearance to unlock.
Chemical Lab
In the hallway leading towards the chemical lab you can find a power node towards the south end of the hallway.
Emergency Supply Storage
In ER Hallway A there will be an Emergency Equipment Storage room where you can find a power node. You can also find the Line Gun Here!
Chapter 6 Power Node Locations
Chapter 6 takes place in Hydroponics where the USG Ishimura produces its oxygen and food for its crew.
Refrigeration Tower
At the north end of the refrigeration tower in an alcove you can find a power node locker next to some personal lockers.
Air Filtration Tower
At the south of the Air Filtration Tower, there’s a room containing a stasis recharge. You can find the power node locker on the east side of the room, opposite of the stasis recharge.
Annex Control Room
After you get past the Air Filtration Tubes you’ll be able to access the Annex Control Room. Inside you’ll find a Power Node.
Brute Encounter
You’ll have to fight a Brute necromorph during your mission to inject the Wheezers with the enzyme. Defeat it to gain a power node.
Near the Tram Station
When you go into the hallway right before the Hydroponics tram station, go to the south west portion of the room to find a power node tucked away in a corner.
Chapter 7 Power Node Locations
These power nodes can be found in the Mining Deck of the USG Ishimura. Do watch your step as this level is filled with traps thanks to the engineering team.
Equipment Workshop
A power node will be found on the east wall of the Equipment Workshop.
B-Deck: Processing
There will be a room in the Processing Deck where you’ll need to use Kinesis to expose a power junction keeping a door locked. Move the boxes with Kinesis through the window and fire at the junction. Inside the room you’ll find a power node.
Mining Storage
There is a Mining Storage room very close to where you get the SOS beacon. Enter the room to find a power node on the south wall of the room.
Utility Room
In the room covered in flesh with the gondola, you can use Zero-G to fly down and access the Utility Room when you have Level 3 clearance. Inside you’ll find a power node and other goodies.
Chapter 8 Power Node Locations
You’ll actually want to walk through the tram and into Engineering before you make your way to the bridge. There’ll be a power node close by waiting for you.
Refueling Control Stations
After you finish Chapter 7, head to engineering as it’s close by before heading to the bridge. Make your way to the 4th level and enter the Level 2 locked door. Inside you’ll find a power node on the east wall.
Nutrition Systems
Head to Hydroponics if you’re far enough in the “Premeditated Malpractice” side quest to reach the Nutrition Systems room. You’ll find a power node in there but beware of the toxic gas.
Maintenance Gondola
This power node can be found near the Maintenance Gondola close to the Communications Array.

ADS Cannon Hallway
In the hallway close to the ADS cannons, you’ll find a power node on the wall. It’s very hard to miss when you first walk in here.
Water Purification Storage
If you completed the “Full Clearance” side quest and have Master Clearance, you can enter the Water Purification Storage room to find a power node.
Chapter 9 Power Node Locations
Chapter 9 takes place on the military ship the USM Valor. Be sure to get them all during Chapter 9 as you won’t get another chance afterwards.
USM Valor Room
Early on in your mission on the USM Valor, you’ll run into this power node. You’ll need to make your way around the debris through the hall as you progress to access it.
Shooting Gallery
If you activate the Shooting Gallery and survive, all the lockers inside will open up. In one of these lockers is a power node.
Cargo Bay
You’ll fight a Brute necromorph in the Cargo Bay. Be sure to pick up the power node that drops from it!
Engine Room
You’ll need to use Kinesis compatible crates to block the jets of flame to access this power node.
Chapter 10 Power Node Locations
Chapter 10 takes place in the Crew Quarters of the USG Ishimura.
Z-Ball
A Power Node can be found in a locker as a prize for beating Level 6 of Z-Ball.
Crew Quarters Hallway
A power node can be found in this hallway on the Crew Quarters Deck on the 1st level.
Storage Room
A power node can be found in a Storage Room on the first floor of the Crew Quarters deck.
Captain Mathias’s Quarters
You can find a power node in Captain Benjamin Mathias’s quarters in the Deluxe Quarters room.
Floor 2 Crew Quarters
A power node can be found on the 2nd floor of the Crew Quarters.
Chapter 11 Power Node Locations
Chapter 11 takes place in the Cargo Bay and Flight Deck of the USG Ishimura. Be sure to go back to find any power nodes you missed before proceeding to Chapter 12!
Cargo Bay
A power node can be found on the southwest corner of the Cargo Bay.
Flight Deck
The Flight Deck will have a power node close to the Marker.
Flight Deck Control Center
The Flight Deck Control Center contains a power node.
Chapter 12 Power Node Locations
Chapter 12 takes place on Aegis VII. If you’re already here then you’ll be unable to return to the USG Ishimura to collect previous power nodes.
Landing Zone
To the north of where the shuttle landed you’ll find a locker containing a power node.
Store Room
In the room north of where the store, bench, and save station is a power node on the far end.
Holding Zone 2B
The room labeled “Holding Zone 2B” contains a power node. Be sure to shoot the cluster here to access the other side of the room for more loot.
Necromorph Swarm
You’ll be getting attacked by a large swarm of necromorphs, including a Brute. Defeating the Brute will drop a power node.
Transfer Junction
The Transfer Junction has a power node on the east side.
Reaching the Shuttle
As you race to get back to the shuttle, you’ll be going down a hallway that leads to the Store Room. You’ll find a power node in the room preceding it.
