Spring | Rotten Tomatoes (1) Rudolph Herzog Newsweek In Spring, though, the MacGuffin hijacks the film. Its "mystery" element is also its weakness. Oct 3, 2017 Full Review Spring | Rotten Tomatoes (2) David Jenkins Little White Lies It's a film whose individual parts are perhaps more impressive than the whole, with innovative drone-cam shots, some special effects work which recalls John Carpenter's The Thing and two very committed and empathetic lead performances. Rated: 2/5 May 21, 2015 Full Review Spring | Rotten Tomatoes (4) Emma Wolfe SpookyAstronauts It's really unique, it kind of has its own sub-genre and I really recommend it to everybody. Irina K It is my favorite movie. It is not a horror, or maybe I found there something what was beyond the plan. It is beautiful Italy in low season [hello, Brodskiy]. It is a play with catches where genres are faked. And it is about solitude and soul mates. It is about Hope which returns even if we are brokenhearted. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/31/24 Full Review Smackie u You'll never see a movie with a plot remotely even like this. It's an artsy love horror film. You'll either adore it or be bored. I adored it. The concept was original and it had emotional weight to the story. Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/16/24 Full Review Joel P Don't be duped as I was by the positive audience reviews: this movie sucks. However, if you're going to watch it, be ready to suspend your disbelief and logic, from the highest point of Mount Vesuvius. The one and two star reviews are completely accurate. Rated 0.5/5 Stars • Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/07/24 Full Review Jeremy I'm a big fan of Moorhead and Benson since seeing Resolution and The Endless. If I gave one of them 4 stars and the other was better 4.5. This was better than both imo! So I have to give it 5! Awesome movie all around. Really enjoyed the hell out of it. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/10/24 Full Review Jim P No, it's not very good. Mainly because of the woeful script… If you want supernatural, try Flatliners, or Under The Skin. Rated 2/5 Stars • Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/06/24 Full Review Alec B Do yourself a favor and watch the film without doing any research into the plot. I guarantee that even if you don't like it, you'll at least be incredibly surprised by what transpires. Essentially, the filmmakers have melded two genres and in doing so, invigorate each genre separately by the presence of the other one.
