Christina, at the end of the day im not gonna sit here eating a bowl of salmon, avocado, sushi rice, and edamame and pretend like im upset, because im not but 2 teaspoons of soy sauce for a pound of salmon is criminally underdressed. Love where youre going with that honey ginger business, but i mean lets get a little loose and open it up. I mean even in the staging photo youve got like a mason jar of that sh*t. What happened between that picture and you typing up the report. Anyways, big fan of the direction, moderate supporter of the execution. Ill go ahead and check out your other recipes

The final dish tasted great (though I didn't add any flavour to my rice) but the bowl was pretty dry using the stated measurements. I would definitely double if you like a saucier meal. I would also marinate the salmon in the sauce first to try and intensify the flavour.

Followed instructions to a T, but for me the flavor wasn't very strong for the salmon. I let it brown in the pan for additional flavor but I ended up adding flavored furikake so that I had more flavor overall for the dish. Not sure if will try again.

I liked it the second time I made because I made adjustments. The vinegar is so strong in the rice. I noticed in the picture, it doesn’t look that is a teaspoon of brown sugar. Maybe a typo? I tried a tablespoon instead the second time and it was better but can still smell/taste the vinegar just not as strong. I also doubled the sauce recipe, I may have used more salmon because it wasn’t enough but the second time after doubling it, was much better. Not sure if 3 tablespoons of vinegar is correct or the measurements in the sauce for the rice is correct.
