Dublin became their home in 1974 when Omega joined Southeast Paper Company. Lynette soon began in-depth Bible Studies at Dublin First Baptist Church where God impressed upon her heart that all talents are from God and should be used for His Glory. Lynette's leadership talent was evident when she became a member of the Dublin Service League and served one year as President. She stayed active all ten years giving her the title of a "True Blue" member.

After Omega's death in 2003, Lynette continued to live in the place she called home until 2016 when she moved to Richmond Hill to be near their children.
