[EFFORT] [PERSONAL EXPERIENCE] Alchemy 50 guide (2024)

Hello! Derpy is mayor, so a lot of people are grinding Alchemy L (50), including me. I got it like an hour ago, so i decided to make guide to help people who don't know how to get it. Alr, let's begin.

Building Auto Brewer
To get Alchemy 50, you would need Auto Brewer. It isn't neccessary, you can get Alchemy 50 without it, but it REALLY speeds up the process.

To make Auto Brewer, I used YouTube video which ill link below.

It's simple, just build the same as film shows. If you want to see it in-game, you can visit me (/visit testing_cheats), there's tp pad behind epawn, which teleports you to chests and minions. Auto Brewer is next to the minions.

Also i'd recommend putting 63 blocks instead of 55 in the hopper, to make sure every potion will brew.

Getting Items Needed
You can use a lot of items to get Alchemy 50, but i'll talk about 3 ones, only ones worth using.

Let's begin with Enchanted Sugar Cane! It's fast method, giving almost 25k exp per potion (per potion, not per brew) (assuming you have cookie and godpot active). But why I'm talking about it, it isn't the fastest method! Yes, i know. I'm talking about it, because it's cheap. Potion sells for a few thousand to NPC (you can boost sell price by adding glowstone, but i'll talk about it later), so you can make some money back! I'd recommend using this, because it's efficient and cheap. I used it as well.

Next, we have Enchanted Fermented Spider Eye. It gives the same exp as ecane and it's more expensive, so why I say about it? It has high npc sell price. I don't know how much, but more than ecane. Most of the time, it's slightly better than ecane, but it depends on bazaar price. I'd recommend using skyhelper bot (/calculateexp alchemy command) to see, what's currently better.

At the end, there's Enchanted Blaze Rod. I wouldn't recommend this one, but it's really fast. Like really. Use this only if you have a lot of coins, because it's expensive.

You would need about 600 enchanted sugar cane/enchanted fermented spider eye to get lvl 50. I started at lvl 29 and i needed 502. I don't know how much Enchanted Blaze Rods you will need, because skyhelper is dumb and it says I can't select starting lvl lower than mine current (50), sorry.

Also, you would need nether warts. The same amount as main materials. Why do you need it? To make Askward Potion. You need to add your main ingridient to Askward Potion, not to normal water bottle.
Also, if you want to save some money (about 10m if using ecane), you can buy glowstone. Normal glowstone is the best, don't use enchanted or other things. It adds 1 to potion lvl, making its npc sell price higher. Nor required, but very helpful.

You can buy all items from bazaar, except water bottles. I just bought a lot of glass from Builder NPC, made empty bottles and filled them with water.

Setting-up Auto Brewer
As tutorial said, there will be 3 rows of brewing stands and chests above them.
In the chests, you will be putting water bottles, they will go trough the brewing stands.
In 1st row of brewing stands (upper ones), you will put nether wart. Nether wart must go as first, so you know.
In 2nd row (middle ones) will be your main ingridient (ecane, eferm eye, erod).
And in last row (lower ones) there will be glowstone. However if you don't want some money back from it, you just dont have to build this row.

Activating Auto Brewer
You set up everything, good job! Now you can start getting Alchemy 50 (but read notes section b4, to make sure you won't lose money on some mistakes)!
As YouTube tutorial said, there will be 2+ levers.
One near your redstone clock (hoppers droppers etc), and 1+ behind the upper chests (water bottle ones) (how much levers depends on how much rows do you have).
At first, put all the items where i said in previous section.
If u already did, fly to the levers behind chests. Turn them all on (stick facing up) and then do the same with redstone clock lever.

Now your Auto Brewer is working! Alchemy 50 soon!
Go to the brewing stand at the end of Auto Brewer, wait for the potions to go there and pick them! Then sell to trading menu, and do it before getting Alchemy 50.

Notes (important)
I have a few notes, please read them before starting brewing potions.

1. Make sure you have booster cookie and god potion active. It will save you A LOT of coins (more than cookie + godpot cost) and speed up the process (you can access trade menu).
2. When your filling bottles with water, make sure you are facing to the block (random full block) not hopper, etc. Instead, water bottles will appear as vanilla items (no COMMON tag) and you won't be able to brew them.
3. Make a few tests before starting, so you don't lose extra coins.
4. ALWAYS have a pet selected. It gives about 1.5m Taming Exp when you're using Alchemy pet (such as sheep). Also, you can lvl up almost 3 Legendary Sheep pets (or any alchemy pets) to lvl 100 just having them equipped all the time! You can then sell them for profit.

Profits from Alchemy 50
Alchemy 50 isnt just a flex. It gives u:
1. Almost 100 intelligence
2. Extra 12 hours of god potion duration
3. Higher skill average level
4. Effect, which boosts ur potions duration by 50%
